This website is dedicated to the electronics hobbyist and enthusiast who wish learn more and get some great new ideas for their home DIY projects. Inspired by my father, Robert Kerchhoff a life long enthusiast and hobbyist he started his passion when he was just 14 years old experimenting with Radios. Determined at a young age to learn more, he purchased many books so that he could test and identify electronic components to fuel his ever growing fascination. What started out as a hobby quickly became more serious as the years went by and he was determined to make a career out of his love for electronics, A trip to Johannesburg in the early 1990’s sponsored by a firm he worked for increased his knowledge and skills in basic electronics and generators. He later went on to repairing Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) Television sets, radios, VCR’s and many more home electronic appliances. Currently retired from his profession he continues to this day building, repairing and experimenting with home electronics.
