Always wanted to get yourself a projector but could not afford one? Why not build one of your own using a shoe box with these really easy to follow steps by ronald laureta over at instructables.
materials:
-magnifying glass (cut handle)
-smartphone
-glue stick
-shoebox (any kind that fits in your phone or tablet)
tools:
-glue gun
-cutter
glue the corners of the box to prevent it from wiggling. I’m using hot glue because i ran out of PVA glue.
use a ball pen or a pencil to trace the magnifying glass, now grab your compass and cutter to cut off a perfectly round hole. if you don’t have a cutter you can use a hobby knife.
Remove the cut piece from the box but save it for later.
Position your lens right in the center.
Use the your previous cut out as a stencil.
Use a double sided tape to mount the phone in the stand
-you must set your phone to the highest brightness.
-then lock your screen
To adjust the projector you must move your phone backwards until you get the sharpest projection and if it does not work extend the back of the projector.
